LIFE, DEATH AND REBIRTH
with Gen Kelsang Leksang
Saturday 24th November – 10.30am – 1pm
We are alive; therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence and yet very few of us have really come to terms with it.
On this course we will explore Buddha’s clear insight into death and what happens after we die. By developing this understanding we can develop an awareness of our own mortality in a way that will totally enrich and transform our life. We can learn to recognise and stay focused on what actually matters, rather than waste our life being consumed by worry and frustration. So much so that we will be able to live a truly meaningful life and face our own death with grace, clarity and fearlessness.
Suitable for beginners and everyone welcome. The half day course consists of two one hour sessions (10:30-11:30am & 12-1pm) which include guided meditations and a talk on the topic. There is a half hour break in the middle for refreshments. You are welcome to arrive from 9:45am for pre-course refreshments and to stay after the course also to relax in the centre.
