KARMA: WHY ME, WHY NOW?
with Gen Kelsang Leksang
Saturday 10th November – 10.30am – 1pm
We all have to experience unwanted situations. We often feel that life is unfair and feel frustrated and maybe depressed that no matter how hard we try, we can’t make life work the way we want it to. Understanding karma, the law of cause and effect, enables to understand why things happen and give us the tools to begin to create the life we want. It also helps us to accept difficult experiences and encourages us to react more constructively. By meditating on karma, we can use our life to gradually set ourselves free from the cycle of pain and worry and thereby make it truly meaningful . On this course Gen Kelsang Leksang will explain this wisdom of karma and guide meditations that will make a practical positive difference in our daily life.
Suitable for beginners and everyone welcome. The half day course consists of two one hour sessions (10:30-11:30am & 12-1pm) which include guided meditations and a talk on the topic. There is a half hour break in the middle for refreshments. You are welcome to arrive from 9:45am for pre-course refreshments and to stay after the course also to relax in the centre.
