‘The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions. If we train in meditation our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness’.
Learning to meditate is arguably the most beneficial thing you can do for yourself and others.
On this half day course, you will learn the basics of how to meditate and be given advice for how to improve and sustain your meditation practice. You will also be guided through some simple meditations which you can then practice at home.
The morning will include guided meditations and time to relax and reflect. The cost of the morning includes refreshments.

Session 1 – 10.30-11.45am. Session 2 – 12.15-1.30pm. (If you are not able to attend the whole morning, it is possible to attend one session, however maximum benefit will be gained from attending the whole morning).
