These drop-in meditation sessions are designed to enable participants to relax and let go of stress whilst learning meditation techniques and methods to think positively and remain calm in daily life.
There’s no need to book, you can drop in any time. No need to wear special clothes or bring any equipment. Meditations are derived from the Buddhist tradition and are suitable for everybody, regardless of experience or beliefs.

Stop worrying – simply meditate

At these classes we explore simple meditations to develop your mind’s potential for peace and happiness. We will discover that it is possible to enjoy real peace of mind by simply calming the mind, without having to depend upon external things. The more peaceful the mind is, the less we will experience worries, frustrations and discontent and we will experience real happiness from within.
Each week will introduce a different meditation and will include some advice on how to practice it. The topics will include, letting go of stress and worries, finding peace inside, and learning to recognise the limitless potential of our mind.
Each class includes 2 guided meditations, some meditation advice and a chance to discuss and ask questions.
Booking is not necessary but if you wish to book the entire series, you can get one week free.
Proceeds cover venue hire costs, publicity and administrative costs. The teacher and assistant do not receive payment for running the class.
