DEVELOPING SELF-ESTEEM

Saturday 13th July – 10.30am – 1pm

Suitable for beginners

We all want to feel good about ourselves. Suffering from a lack of self-esteem can adversely affect our daily life and relationships. Buddha teaches that self-esteem is something that we either have or we don’t. It is a state of mind that can be cultivated. By applying Buddha’s teachings on the mind we come to discover that our insecurities are based on mistaken apprehensions of ourselves.

On this half-day course, through a combination of practical teachings and guided meditations discover how to let go of your inhibiting insecurities and instead identify with your potential. This is an authentic source of self-confidence and naturally empowers us in all our activities. Explore how to integrate this into your life and in particular how to use it to bring about the deeper changes that you long for. In this way becoming the confident, joyful, loving person you truly wish to be.

Suitable for beginners and everyone welcome.  The half day course consists of two one hour sessions (10:30-11:30am & 12-1pm) which include guided meditations and a talk on the topic.  There is a half hour break in the middle for refreshments.  You are welcome to arrive from 9:45am for pre-course refreshments and to stay after the course also to relax in the centre.
