Love can give rise to great happiness but all too often it seems to lead to pain and suffering. Why? because we fail to understand what love actually is and isn’t. In this talk, learn how to develop pure love that will never cause pain. By growing our good heart through meditation and special ways of thinking, all our relationships will become more harmonious, joyful and long-lasting. Eventually we will have a heart-felt love towards all living beings without biase or partiality.
Gen Kelsang Lekma, a close disciple of the Founder of our tradition Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, is the resident teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Southampton. She is a senior Buddhist nun with more than 25 years of experience and she has taught in England and the United States for much of this time.
She is a very popular and experienced teacher and her clear and entertaining talks express the path of wisdom and meditation in a way that is ideally suited for people of the modern world.
