‘Introduction to Meditation’

Recorded session with Kadampa teacher Roland Jones

‘The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness, but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions. If we train in meditation our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness.’ ~Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Learning to meditate is arguably the most beneficial thing you can do for yourself and others.

These one off sessions provide an introduction and a context to our meditation practice and will include advice on how we can build and maintain our practice. The session will include both instructions and some guided meditations which you can then practice at home.

Course Fee: £6 (£4 concession*)
