About the course

Do you sometimes feel a bit fed up and feel like life is a bit of a treadmill.

Happiness is a state of mind, and if we bring it to our activities, then we enjoy them.  The trouble is that our joy is often temporary and can easily be lost in the midst of a busy and hectic daily life… What would it mean learn how to cultivate happiness from within which is a more stable form of happiness?

During this short course, Kadampa teacher Sarah will explain how each and every one of us can learn the skill of how to develop and stable, happy and joyful mind by cultivating positive states of mind. By learning to do this we can start to realise that we can choose to be happy in the midst of every day life.

This course will provide you with a series of tools you can use to transform every day activities into causes of joy and happiness so that you can learn to enjoy life more.

The course will consist of practical teachings and short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve our ability to deal with stress.

On this course you will learn how to:

  • Use meditation to uplift and inspire your mind
  • Develop a sense of joy in the midst of every day acitivities
