About the course
This time of year and can a mixed experience for many.
It can be a time of appreciating those around us and sharing gifts and good wishes. However it can also be a time where people’s experience heightened pressure and are reminded of past losses, relationship difficulties and areas in their life which seem lacking.
Join us for one of these short talks and guided meditations and explore how we can use meditation and special ways of thinking to navigate this season more effectively.
The session will be followed by an optional tea party which everyone is welcome to join.

These classes are taught by Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Leksang. A teacher with over 20 years experience of teaching meditation. The course will be based on teachings of Buddha that provide powerful and liberating insights into the nature of the human mind.

The teacher
The teacher of this class is Gen Kelsang Leksang, she has been an ordained Buddhist nun for 17 years. she has been studying under the guidance of the meditation master venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years and was first appointed as resident teacher at KMC Birmingham in 2007.
Appreciated for her caring and positive manner, she has the ability to inspire people to improve their own lives by showing how Buddha’s teaching are relevant to the experiences of modern day people.
