Description
About the course
Do you feel that you lack confidence? Do you ever feel worn out and worn down by life and never seem to make time for your own wellbeing?
Pushing ourselves beyond our capacity and feeling guilty about making time for your own wellbeing are common.
Often we feel that we are so busy trying to sort everything out, we don’t have time to take care of our body and mind. Or maybe we feel that we are just not worth it?
With these habits, we can end up feeling so tired and depleted, that when we do find time to rest, we just end up indulging in bad habits that make us feel even worse.
However, these habits can be strong so we need to look at and change our deepest mistaken beliefs about who we are and what we are capable of.
You can learn, to change the way we view ourselves and your role in this world. So that rather than feeling you are not good enough and not caring for yourself adequately, you can learn that caring for your body and mind needs to be a priority.
It is not selfish to care for your body and mind, in fact, it is one of the kindest things you can do for yourself and those around you.
If you’d like to learn how to do this, join us for our upcoming 6 week meditation course – self-care and self-esteem – taking place in Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton and Stirchley. This course is also available online to members.
On this course you will learn practical, easy to understand techniques, taught by Buddha for improving your self-esteem and making caring for ourself more of a priority.
You will learn:
- How to develop stable self-confidence and self-esteem
- How to change your core beliefs so that self-care will become more of a priority
- How to be kind to others and yourself at the same time
- How to relax more in life
This course will be great for beginners as well as those with experience.
Each class is self-contained and can be attended individually but maximum benefit derived from attending the whole course.
Classes will contain guided meditations and advice for developing self-esteem, self-respect and improving self-care.
All our classes are taught by qualified Kadampa teachers who have studied extensively under the guidance of Accomplished Buddhist meditation master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
