TURN ANXIETY TO AUTHENTIC HAPPINESS

TURN ANXIETY TO AUTHENTIC HAPPINESS

In these times of uncertainty, anxiety and worry are a common experience for many people. These states of mind rob us of our mental peace and prevent us from living our life to the full.

This series of classes will follow on from our special public talk with Kadam Bridget Heyes, National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition in the UK, on Tuesday 12th Nov

Then week by week learn simple and reliable methods to reduce anxiety using meditation and mindfulness techniques derived from ancient Buddhist wisdom. These techniques when put into practice can help us to overcome anxiety and find a more relaxed, peaceful and positive life.

Week 1 – Introductory talk

Week 2 – Think yourself happy

Week 3 – Embracing change

Week 4 – Learning how to go with the flow

Week 5 – Letting go of self-criticism and guilt

Week 6 – Keeping calm at Christmas
