About the course

Join us for a transformative four week meditation course in the heart of Birmingham, guided by Buddhist nun and experienced teacher Gen Kelsang Leksang. Drawing from the profound wisdom of How to Understand the Mind by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, this course offers a rare opportunity to explore the nature and function of the mind from a deeply meditative and practical perspective.

Each week, you’ll learn how to recognize and understand different types of thoughts and mental habits, gaining tools to reduce stress, anxiety, and negative patterns. With gentle but powerful meditations, clear teachings, and plenty of space for reflection, you’ll begin to unlock the potential for lasting inner peace and mental freedom.

This course is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike, and offers a down-to-earth, accessible introduction to one of Buddhism’s most essential topics.

What you’ll gain:

  • A clearer understanding of how your mind works
  • Practical tools to manage challenging emotions
  • Increased mental peace, focus, and resilience
  • Insight into how meditation can transform your everyday life

Join us and begin your journey into the peaceful power of the mind.
