Do you feel as if you mind is always on the go ? Do you often experience worry, frustration and self-criticism?
These experiences are very common – especially in this modern fast paced world which is full of distractions.
However, Buddha teaches some powerful meditations that enable us to calm and still our minds.
By training in these meditations and special ways of thinking, we can begin to get control of our minds.
We can learn to feel more and more centred in an inner peace and wisdom in our own heart.
Then rather than our mind being constantly blown around by external circumstances, we can begin to choose to think in more peaceful and balanced wasys.
In this workshop, you will learn how to discover your inner peace and wisdom

The teacher
The teacher of this class is Gen Kelsang Leksang, she has been an ordained Buddhist nun for 18 years. She has been studying under the guidance of the meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years and was first appointed as resident teacher at KMC Birmingham in 2007.
Known for her caring and positive manner, she has the ability to inspire people to improve their own lives by showing how Buddha’s teaching are relevant to the experiences of modern people.
