The Light of Wisdom  

Join us for an inspiring and empowering day, learning how to develop our wisdom. 

Wisdom will never deceive us. It is like an inner light that guides us towards a happy life.  

The more we develop our wisdom, the more our mind is balanced and comfortable.  

With wisdom, we know how to help ourselves and others and we naturally live a healthier,  more meaningful life. 

In particular, the wisdom that realizes the true nature of reality has the power to liberate us completely from our self-created mental prison, giving us tremendous power to benefit others through attaining enlightenment. 

An empowerment is a special blessing that heals our mind and awakens our pure potential. During this empowerment we will make a special connection with the wisdom Buddha Manjushri whom we can rely upon to help us to develop our wisdom. 

In addition to granting the empowerment of Buddha Manjushri, Gen Leksang will explain how we can all develop our wisdom by training in correct meditation.

The teacher 

The teacher of this event is Gen Kelsang Leksang. She has been an ordained Buddhist nun for 18 years. she has been studying under the guidance of the meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years and was first appointed as Resident Teacher at KMC Birmingham in 2007.  

Appreciated for her caring and positive manner, she has the ability to inspire people to improve their own lives by showing how Buddha’s teaching are relevant to the experiences of modern day people.
