Description

About the course

Things in life often don’t go according to plan.

As much as we try, we cannot prevent things from going wrong. This is part of life.

We want things but often can’t get them – and even when we do, we often don’t get them in the way we want to get them. Life’s successes can even come with other unwanted and unplanned situations.

By learning to work with the uncertainty and changing nature of life, we can learn to use life’s challenges to help us to grow and even thrive.

The more we value the development of inner resilience, balanced thinking and calm – the more even the most challenging experiences can provide us with valuable opportunities.

On this course we will explore how we can learn to view  challenging relationships, physical and mental suffering, loss and also daily difficulties with strength and a sense of balance.

In this 5 week course, Gen Kelsang Leksang will share special ways of thinking and meditations that will help you to get stronger, wiser and calmer in the face of adversity.

On this course you will learn:

  • How to relax into life instead of fearing it
  • How to develop mental resilience
  • How to feel optimistic and hopeful even in times of difficulty
  • How to calm your anxiety, frustration and pain

If you’d like to learn how to do this, join us for our upcoming 6 week meditation course  taking place in Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton and Stirchley. This course is also available online to members.

This course will be great for beginners as well as those with experience.

Each class is self-contained and can be attended individually but maximum benefit derived from attending the whole course.

Classes include guided meditations and advice for developing positive and peaceful habits of mind.
