On this retreat we will be guided through a series of meditations called the ‘Sevenfold cause and effect’ explained in Joyful Path of Good Fortune by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. These meditations cause us to develop our pure love which is a true source of peace and happiness for ourselves and others. Through developing and widening the scope of our love, we can let go of painful states of mind such as anger and resentment and become a source of peace and wisdom for others.
This relaxing weekend is an informal balance of meditations, practical teachings and time to rest and relax. It is an opportunity for those new to meditation to learn how to find inner peace and to cope with our busy everyday lives. And a chance for those with more experience to deepen their experience of meditation and Buddha’s teachings.
