Amitayus Retreat
£10.00
Unguided retreat – suitable for those with some experience of meditation
Saturday 8th February 2025
10am-4pm
To enjoy a meaningful human life we need long life and wisdom. The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus is the principal method for increasing our lifespan, merit and wisdom. In each session we can also practise to increase the lifespan of our precious Guru – to maintain his form body in this world.
It is traditional for Kadampa centres to engage in short retreat on this beautiful practice early in the year.
Everyone is welcome to any of the sessions.
The sessions are all unguided. For each session, we will engage in the Yoga of Buddha Amitayus, with time for visualizations and mantra recitation as explained in the sadhana (prayer booklet).
The retreat sessions are by donation.
