Description

It’s very easy to feel like there’s no time left in our week to care for our self and that looking after our body and mind is an unaffordable luxury. We can even feel guilty when we do carve out a little time to rest and recharge.

However, without developing a healthy mind, are ability to help others is very limited. Our lives can feel so busy and it can feel like we are constantly on the go mentally. This can be tiring and can rob us of our opportunity to really enjoy our life.

Our Silent day retreats provide the perfect opportunity to take a break from it all. The days consist of three 1 hour sessions – containing advice for a happy life and guided meditations.

On this retreat the emphasis will be on healing your heart of anger and resentment and learning to prioritize your peace by reflecting on the Buddhist path of loving kindness.

The sessions will be guided by our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Leksang and suitable for beginners as well as those with experience.

Refreshments and a light vegetarian lunch will be provided.
