Description

Do you ever find yourself thinking the same thoughts, reacting in the same ways, or struggling to change habits you know aren’t helping you? Even when we have good intentions, it can be difficult to make lasting changes in our lives. We may feel stuck, discouraged, or unsure how to move forward.

Buddha taught that we all have the capacity to change our mind and develop more positive and peaceful ways of thinking. By understanding how our mind works and learning how to work with it, we can gradually break free from unhelpful habits and create lasting and meaningful change — both through meditation and in our everyday lives.

In this very special public talk, Buddhist monk Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, a Senior disciple of the great Buddhist teacher Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and retired Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, will share practical teachings drawn from his 45 years of experience of meditation.

Gen-la will explain how we can learn to respond to life’s challenges in more constructive ways, develop greater inner peace and confidence, and experience more happiness from within, whatever our external circumstances. We will discover how training our mind can help us gradually let go of unhelpful patterns and replace them with more peaceful and beneficial states of mind.

Whether you are new to meditation or have been practising for years, this talk offers practical advice and inspiration for creating positive change in your life.
