About the course

Does your mind never stop? Do you tend to overthink things and engage in circular thinking that doesn’t get you anywhere? Does this affect your peace of mind and your ability to enjoy life.

Nowadays stress, anxiety, overthinking and low mood are very common experiences.  For many people life seems quite complicated and uncertain.

We can feel under pressure to perform and juggle so many things.

We can feel that as soon as we’ve stopped worrying about one thing, another difficulty appears to take its place.

Buddha teaches that the problem is that we are seeking happiness and security in external objects. However, because deep down we know that we can’t fully control external things, this gives rise to more overthinking and anxiety.

Anxiety, overthinking, stress are states of mind, they are mental habits that will arise no matter how much we try to improve our external world.

By learning to calm our mind and find inner stability, we can gradually reduce our overthinking and worry habits and find much more inner peace.

Kadampa Meditation offers many tools – meditation and good thinking habits that we can use to really learn to relax and let go of stress and pain.

During February, in our meditation course, we will be exploring simple meditations and special ways of thinking, that everyone can learn to practice that will calm and relax our mind.
