About the course
Painful emotions such as anxiety, sadness, anger, or overwhelm are a part of life but they don’t have to take over our mind. In this four week meditation class series, learn practical, meditation-based methods to respond to difficult emotions with clarity, calm, and kindness.
Through guided meditations accessible Buddhist teachings and practical advice, you’ll discover how to create space around painful feelings, reduce inner struggle, and develop a more balanced, peaceful mind. These simple techniques can be used in everyday life, helping you feel more resilient and emotionally steady.
On this course you will learn how meditation techniques and practical wisdom that can help us to deal with painful mind states such as anxiety, sadness, anger, or overwhelm.
You will learn:
- What painful emotions are caused by and how we can reduce them
- How to process difficulties without the overwhelm
- How to transform our experiences into resilience
- How to become emotionally strong and confident
Join us for our upcoming 4 week meditation course taking place in Sutton Coldfield.
This course is also available online to members.
This course will be great for beginners as well as those with experience.
Classes include guided meditations and advice for developing positive and peaceful habits of mind.
This course is available in Birmingham City Centre (Tuesdays & Sundays), Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton and online.

Week 3 – 5th November: Healing through inner transformation
Week 4 – 12th November: Moving forward with strength and confidence
The Teacher

The teacher of this class is Kelsang Lhasang. She is a Kadampa Buddhist nun, ordained in 2016. She has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism and meditation since 2009.
Known for her sincere good heart, Lhasang shares Buddha’s teachings with warmth and enthusiasm.
